Payment

We accept credit card, debit card and Paypal payments via Sage Pay our secure payment gateway.

Cards we accept, (MasterCard / Visa / Solo / Switch / Maestro).

The goods will not be dispatched until the customer's funds that have been paid to scooter-wear.com have cleared in full.

Order Notes

Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers.

We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error.

Important: This website operates on an 'invitation to treat' basis and not as an 'offer for sale' as a result, scooter-wear.com reserves the right to decline orders for bulk or high value purchases or confirmed orders where an item has been priced incorrectly.

Credit Card Security

During the checkout stage, you will be passed on to a Secure Order Processing page (Sage Pay), your details will be encrypted by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details.

The URL prefix will change from http to https (denoting a secure server managed by Sage Pay) when you have entered your contact details and click 'submit order'.

Privacy Policy

We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We will not release your name, address, email address or any other information about our customers to any outside party**. We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals.

**If you place an order with scooter-wear.com and the item is out of stock, we may arrange for the product to be sent directly from our manufacturers/suppliers. In this circumstance we will pass your delivery address to the manufacturer/supplier who in turn will use this to arrange delivery via their chosen courier.

Your information provided to us during the ordering process is protected by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details. This server encrypts information while it is being transmitted across the Internet so that unauthorised people cannot read it.

Stock Levels

We work hard to ensure we carry the most comprehensive selection of items. If you purchase an item that we do not have in stock we will contact you immediately if we feel this will adversely affect the length of time it will take us to supply the item to you.

Delivery

Your order will be delivered by courier or Royal Mail. In order to offer free or heavily discounted delivery we have sourced the best value and most reliable operators we can and aim to get your goods to you within 5 working days. We do appreciate, however, that sometimes you will need your purchase sooner, so we do also offer a faster service for a small fee. All deliveries will need to be signed for.

All standard UK delivery is free of charge for orders over £50. A small fee is applied for express delivery (subject to us having the item in stock) Please select this option via the drop down box upon check out. For delivery outside the UK please select your 'location' on our checkout page and the delivery charge for your location will be displayed.

Where goods are purchased for delivery outside the UK - it is the responsibility of the purchaser/importer to pay any locally imposed duties.

Returns/refund Policy

We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a no fuss guarantee (terms and conditions apply).

You are entitled to cancel your order at anytime between time of order and within 14 days of receiving your goods. We are very happy to accept returned items if we are notified within this period. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us for a Returns Reference and then return the products to us.

Please note - returns will not be accepted without prior agreement.

Any items returned must be in a fully resaleable condition, including packaging and with tags still attached.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.

Upon receipt of a returned item - we will send a replacement size if this is requested or we will process a full refund minus any pre-paid delivery charges at the earliest opportunity. We charge a small fee to cover the cost of sending exchanged goods out.

Please note we cannot accept the return of scooter leg covers or scooter hand grip covers if an attempt has been made to fit them

Please note Special Order Items are non-returnable/refundable

Due to the nature of helmets as a safety product we are not able to accept returns.

Free gifts

Please note: if any purchases are subsequently returned for refund - any free gifts must be returned too, unused/unopened/resellable. Where any free gifts are not returned or returned used/opened/unsellable - their full value will be deducted from any refunded monies. Any offer of free gift with a product in not valid in conjunction / combinable with any other offer / discount code.
